I'm happy to be talking to you about football.

I was admittedly, as someone who loves a good trade, hoping for a little more trade deadline action, but we didn't get that.

I'm not surprised.

I feel like with a lot of the cap constraints, it was going to be a down year in what is always a disappointing time in the NFL calendar.

There are a lot of benefits to covering the NFL. I find the sport fascinating. I think that there's always something going on and we're talking about. But when it comes to trade deadlines, we get the short end of the stick. I mean, Nick Foles couldn't have gone somewhere. He has to be the third-string quarterback for the Bears. Would that really have moved the needle for you? That's what you would have gotten excited about? I've just got to scratch that it, you know? I need something more than Melvin Ingram going to the Chiefs. And there was like some six-round pick. Oh, no, the Lauren Duvarni-Hardee trade. So two trades, not trades, not a blockbusters. I mean, we did get a

whole fame player traded yesterday to arguably the best team in the NFL. That's really all you can ask

for. And he traded apparently because he threw a party and then asked his teammates to pay for it.

And the teammates were like, yeah, maybe not. And that didn't go over super well. Did that seriously happen? That is per reports. I cannot confirm

that myself. I'm not reporting that myself. Just per reports, von Miller planned a party and the team,

the rest of his team, didn't really want to pay for it. And it created some dissension, allegedly, supposedly.

I would love to know more about the details of this.
