Morning, everybody, the simple handicap for Tuesday, September 17th. Thank you for making me a part of your morning. What a Monday night football finish. That was one of the better ones we've had of the year for just wild, wacky craziness. Boy, I came into the office. There was about two minutes left. So, okay, it's going to be a quick recap episode. I'm going to go back out, watch TV with the wife, have a relaxing bun day evening.

Nope, they kicked the field goal. And then sure enough, the six point lead, the worst lead you can

have late in the

football game ends up coming to back and bite the Philadelphia Eagles as the Falcons led by

Kirk Cousins go down the football field. What an absolute blunder. I'm not going to go back

into the game and unravel and recap everything. I've got about a 10-minute recap video on Twitter

but what I will say is if you're sitting here this morning and you're an Eagles fan or you're

just somebody who watched the game and you had a strong take on it, what I would say is if you felt

compelled by the third down run being the right decision and were adamant that the pass play

was a bad decision.

I posted a picture. Go back and look at the front the Atlanta Falcons defense was showing on

third and three. They had nine guys stacked up at the line of scrimmage. Nick Siriani talked about

it after the game in the postgame presser. He's like, they showed us a look that you're not going to run into. They're junking up the middle. We call the great play. And unfortunately, Sequin dropped it. I mean, if you're an Eagles fan and at the start of the game, you're going to say Sequin Barclay is going to have a three-yard cushion on a linebacker in space. If he catches the you, you win the game. You're taking that 99 out of

100 times every single time. The one person who says no is a really, really big Eagles fan and he wants

to win the game by 40. So that's not acceptable. Otherwise, anyone logical is taking that situation.
