I other things to talk about today. Marty Schottenheimer passed away.

That was not going to be easy to talk about to begin with.

Marty meant a lot.

And honestly, I think he meant a lot to me

because he was the coach when I first

started becoming a fan.

And, you know, I knew he'd been sick and I'm not trying to take away from his life at all, but that's not the one that hit home the hardest.

Yeah, it is a difficult day. This is going to be an atypical show folks. So just kind of bear with us as we work through this.

I was recording with Matt Derek here, about an hour ago ago getting ready for our normal

Wednesday and you will hear that tomorrow as bad I and I actually got through it and we

were recording when we heard the news of the passing of Terez-Phaler.

It was just on the show last week.

And it is something that, like you said, Chris, for Marty, somebody that is, you know, a rock of most of Chiefs kingdoms memory of this franchise and

how they became fans yes I know there are some of you out there that are to go back to Hank, I get it, but for a lot of people, especially of my generation, it was about Marty.

And I actually got to meet Marty once the year before he left Kansas City and was a gracious

guy as well.

But this is different because Tres has been somebody who's been on this show with us.
