Well, June first hit and it's absolute freaking pandemonium around the NFL.

And why don't we go ahead and start with the biggest one? Get that out of the way, first and foremost.

The big news of the day, Miles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns was traded to the L.A. Rams.

This news does suck. Miles Garrett being in Cleveland makes him much less of a threat than him being with the Rams.

The Rams being an NFC team and being a team that is a Super Bowl contender,

mean that the road to the Super Bowl for the Packers will almost assuredly run through the Rams.

It doesn't have to be that way necessarily,

but the point is, if you have Super Bowl ambitions,

you had better be prepared to be better than that team,

which is not, it already was a difficult ask.

It just got a lot more miserable.

Now, there is a silver lining here that I think most people will ignore.

And it's for the same reason that, I don't know, we don't need to get into that.

But the trade package, and I am probably the only person on planet Earth that will say this, but I will say this.

The trade package is a package that I would have rejected if I was the Rams.

It includes a 2029 third, a 2028 second, and a 2027 first.

In addition, the package included edge rusher Jared Verst.

The 2024 defensive rookie of the year pro bowler, 25 years old, one of the better pass rushers

in football, was included in this package.
