Oregon. So we're hoping he's having safe travels back.

But we're here, you know, it's been a very active first couple of days of free agency.

And, you know, even though, you know, it wasn't the expectation that there would be this high

volume of talent available. It's been a very exciting couple of days, I think.

Yeah. I mean, I think the free agent class is okay. It's mostly the receivers and that's the

big position people care about. People care about receivers. It's almost turning into a quarterback-esque level

of hyped position, which, you know, rightfully so. I think it's the second most important

position. But yeah, I mean, if I just want to start talking immediately about the signing that my

team just made, Andy Dalton.

Yeah, signing of the century, right? Yeah. So the thing is, is that, and I'm going to make a

TikTok about this, bridge quarterbacks don't work, ever.

If you go out and you're saying like, whoa, no, no, no, bridge quarterbacks work.

And your two examples that you're going to pull up are Alex Smith and Brett Fav.

Now, first off, Brett Fav's final season was 2008 for the Packers.

So we're going back about 15 years, but also both of those guys

were on the team and good when they drafted the quarterback. If you go out and sign some like

this, you know, Andy Dalton, whatever, he was fine last year. It's like what, the 30th best

quarterback in the NFL? He's like a borderline starter or whatever. Okay. If you go do that, that's fine. If you want to sit your guy, sure. He's not going to make it through the first year. Mitch Trubisky is a really great example. Oh, we actually think he could, no. No. If you're signing a guy at a free agency for $10 million, they aren't the guy. They aren't the guy. It's that simple. So to me, it's like, I just, I just didn't care. I knew the Panthers were going to do it, which is fine. You weren't going to go in saying like, oh, we're going to draft a rookie quarterback and have no contingency plan whatsoever it wasn't going to be

that or corral and i you know i think corral could be possibly really really bad um so i i'm not
