Inside the Birds is back. What's up everybody. It's Jeff Mosier, Adam Kaplan. We've been talking about

NFL free agency. We've been previewing it. We've given the quarterbacks. We've gone through running backs. And now we get to wide receivers. It may be, I mean, when you look at some of the names out there, you're like, oh, hey, that guy can play. That guy can play. Probably this, Adam. We're going to talk about this through two different lenses, right? The NFL, because we're going to preview NFL free agency at this position, but also obviously the Eagles

lens. There's a lot going on with them. You've heard them at the Combine sort of talk their way

around the A.J. Brown situation. All right. Clearly, we know there, if there's business to be made,

business will be made. All right, we'll say that.

But if you look at the Eagles, to me, whether or not they have AJ Brown,

I think we've discussed this.

Their depth of that position is not great.

And it wouldn't hurt them to be a little bit active in free agency just to, you know,

we've talked about they don't have a natural slot.

And we've talked about they have no,

after Devante Smith and AJ Brown, what do they got, right? I mean, John Dodson's a free agent. Then he got Johnny, guys like Johnny Wilson, Darius Cooper. They don't have like an established guy there. And then, of course, if you look at the NFL, right, there are probably four or five teams that you think if that team got itself just a

like a B plus type of wide receiver, maybe like the bills, right? They could really do something.

So why, I think this position is going to be very interesting in free agency. It actually has

pretty good depth. Now, George Pickens will not be going to Freed and C, technically, because he's going to get the franchise tag.

Cowboys, not surprisingly, it's really their only option now because they, figuring out his contract with,

if Pittsburgh wanted no part of him, they traded him, and then you had some concentration problems,

effort problems last season.

And then there were times where he was unbelievable, the best receiver in football by far some

weeks. You got Dak Prescott is still a pretty good quarterback. So it worked for them.

But trying to figure out what that contract would look like, structurized, can they get out of it

early if he's not behaving well yeah this stuff
