What's happening sports fans? It is the Lieber and sauce podcast a couple of days before

the mock draft or the real draft. Excuse me. A lot of things have been swirling Ben Lieber

and one of them is that a lot of teams are looking to trade up. But you and I today are

going to do a mock draft, but let's just talk about it because we saw it on Twitter

and a couple of people have been talking about it. Your boy Tom Pelicero said it on Twitter

that one of the teams looking to move up is the Minnesota Vikings and the picks that everybody

thinks are for sale or Detroit, Carolina, in Denver. Your quick thoughts.

Well, I think it'd be an aggressive move that we don't normally see Rick Spiel and make

aggressive moves to get up. You know, we've seen him trade down. We've seen him acquire picks.

He loves to acquire picks. That's the mo of Rick Spielman and his staff. But you know,

we've been saying it all along and, you know, we have gone around in different scenarios and

different mindsets. But I think the one constant that we keep coming back to is they

they're in win now mode. They have to be in win now mode. You know, job security wise between

head coach and GM, they have to win now. So if that's the case and you're kind of in desperation

mode, who cares if you've got all these draft picks lined up? Who cares if you've got four,

fourth rounders and two thirds. Package some of those up maybe next year's first because if it

doesn't work out, it's not your mess to clean up, right? You know, it's not your first rounder

that you're sabotaging. Who cares? It's somebody else's let them deal with your mistakes.

So I don't I don't mind it. I just would be really curious to see who they trade up for.

And, you know, if if the consensus is a pene soul or a shonslater, you know, I wouldn't be

mad at that. I think that there are some really talented top four, five offense alignment that

are going to start right away and potentially become true anchors to an offensive line for years
