Hey guys this is Matt and many of you probably heard over the weekend that our dear friend

our brother and our strict football bartender Dan passed away unexpectedly last

Friday morning due to a sudden illness. One thing that that

Connor and myself and Mello have talked about is that Dan loved this podcast.

When I when I told him I was getting a podcast, he was so excited to not only like to help come up with some of the crazy ideas that we do on the weekend show, but also just the fact that, you you know there was going to be another

another thing he could listen to on his way into work and it it morphed from him

you know being a listener and a silent partner to you know being a dry cough and someone who came on on the

Friday shows to originally crack beers and then he started throwing hot takes so we had to put

him on the mic but we're going to do our best because it's what Dan would have wanted to continue this as best we can

You guys have been amazing all of our stick to football family that Dan loved so much have been amazing.

We set up a go fund me account and you guys have been so awesome we've had to raise the goal on it twice already.

Even if you can't donate, it's cool we understand, but if you could share that, so maybe other people see it,

it would definitely help out. He left behind two kids, a boy who's a

excuse me a girl who's four and we're just trying to kind of help them through this

process. So that's that's what's happening and that's what we're going to try to do.

Connor, I know that you and Dan had had fucked up some handshakes over the years and gotten pretty close.

So it's hard for all of us, man.

It really is.
