Welcome back to the Adam Schaefter podcast, a post-2026 NFL draft podcast.

And we started doing this years ago, and it's truly one of my favorite things that we do all year.

It is the look back at the most recent draft with my dear friends, incredible colleagues, tremendous workers, the legendary Mel Kuyper Jr.

and the outstanding field yates.

Gentlemen, first of all, let me say this, Mel, I didn't get to say goodbye to you.

I left Saturday morning, and I didn't get to say you about you and congratulate you on another great draft.

It's weird not seeing you

you must have just i'm getting away from pipe yeah lewis told me i said he wanted to more kite

so i said i don't know but adam was off to the races but that was a lot of fun uh pittsburgh i'll

tell you what and field they were the nicest,

most welcome. We talked about what Green Bay did. I thought as a Raven fan, wearing my purple,

I'd be in a little trouble. I was a little nervous field, but hey, people of Pittsburgh were

amazingly gracious, respectful, happy, had a lot of fun, so nice. It was just a great three days in
