Our prospect preview series continues rolling on here this particular day.

We are going to be breaking down the running back class, and joining me to do just that.

It is, as he will be here pretty much every Thursday leading up to

the NFL draft it is our guy Ray Garvin Ray what's going on man man man it is a uh I love how you

say that it's a great day it's a good day we're talking running backs 2026 NFL draft

Matt we're a few weeks away from the draft actually, you know, kicking off and

starting and getting through all of that. It's fun, man. And, you know, we did the quarterbacks

last week, talked through that. But now, now we're getting the guys that no matter what we think

about the class as a whole, no matter what we think about it compared to 25 or what might be

in 27, running backs matter.

It's the NFL. So many teams are deploying two or three running backs. So even if these guys

don't align with the caliber, some guys from the past, you said it in the pre-show. Like, they're

going to matter for us in fantasy football. I think what I actually said to you when we were texting about this before the show is that here's the deal, no matter how good we think this class is, just use my language here, family show, but some of these guys are going to fall ass backwards into being fantasy relevant because that's just the way the running back position is, man. You know, it doesn't matter. Like, who would have thought Kyron Williams at one point would be one of the most productive running backs in the NFL? Who would have thought fifth rounder, Bucky Irving? I know people liked him, but fifth rounder, Bucky Irving was going to come in and have this awesome, you know, borderline elite rookie season in his, in his fantasy rookie debut. debut so it's just like that's what happens like

yes talent of course matters and we're going to talk about these guys as talents on this show

but so much ray of what happens at this position in fantasy in particular is all about opportunity
