Richard and RJ White.

My name is Cianajad, and I cannot wait for this. Dave Richard, I got to start with you because you always talk to us about how we're so many Sundays away from NFL season. Well, we're zero Sundays away from the NFL draft.

NFL draft never takes place on a Sunday, see it. It's a Thursday to Saturday event, and it is in our very, very near future. And there are some exploitable ways to make a little bit of money on this draft. I can't wait to talk about all of them. It's an interesting draft, by the way, definitely not like last years or the year before. Or what next year's is going to be, right? RJ, talk to me about how excited you are for this draft. And oh, by the way, both of you have content over at CBSSports.com that everyone can check out. RJ, how are you feeling? Yeah, I mean, people have dodged on this class and we'll go into it a little bit. I think it is exciting because it's more unpredictable. Like, even at two, we don't know what's going to happen. We see a lot of changing odds right now. and it really just opens up, you know, all sorts of possibilities. I do like the draft, probably much more than the Super Bowl, even because it is the Super Bowl for 32 fan bases, right? So, you know, you go in, even with the franchise that screws up their picks year after year and you can say, oh, oh, it was me. You know, that Wednesday going into Thursday, you're thinking maybe this

is the year we find a Tom Brady, we find a Brock Purdy, those type of guys later. So it's always a

fascinating look at those type of fan bases that feel good, feel bad coming out of a draft.

All right. Well, gentlemen, we're going to start with kind of going through the top 10 picks,

or at least bets we might have conversation pieces we might

have as we go through the first round. But RJ, a lot of times when we enter a draft, there's always talk of, of course, who's going to get drafted. You mentioned number two overall. We're going to get to that in a second with perhaps David Bailey or Arvell Reese. But a lot of people want to talk about trades. Do we think this is going to be a draft that's loaded with trading up and trading down or maybe not so much? Yeah, I think it's going to be tough. I think many teams do want to move down, especially in the top 10. They're going to struggle to find anyone willing to meet what the charts say they should get for those type of picks. It's just not going to happen in this class. And the teams moving up are going to be hesitant to package some future picks in their offers, because, as

you said, people excited about next year's class. So it means if a team does move down in the top

10, they're going to have to probably take a discount. And that may make sense for some teams. Maybe

the Cardinals can move back some, get an

offensive linemen, not at three. But it's going to be really few and far between, I think,

especially with the change this year, worth noting that we're going down from 10 minutes to

eight minutes in first round picks. So you have two fewer minutes to make that decision. And we

know how risk averse teams can be. So you get two

fewer minutes to say yes to a trade. I just don't think a lot of it's going to happen.

Dave, when it comes to the top 10 picks, we're looking, or at least you're looking, more defensive

players rather than offensive players. I think we should count on that. I think that's also part of

what makes drafting safe is taking defensive players, maybe taking count on that. I think that's also part of what makes drafting safe is

taking defensive players, maybe taking offensive linemen. We know that there aren't a lot of

quarterbacks that teams are excited about only one, maybe two or three running backs. That'll be
