We need to give a shout out to a very special someone. Many, many moons ago, 30 years ago, when I started my career out of college at Sports Illustrated, I covered

my first combine and normally my job, Simon, was fact checking the NFL insider column for Peter King and for those who don't know who

Peter King is.

What a job.

That was a great, it was a great job.

Like I literally got out of college, got a job at Sports Illustrated. It was late summer and they assigned me to fact check Peter King.

If you don't know, like Peter King was Adam Schefter and Woj rolled into one for the NFL and Sports Illustrated in the mid 90s was bigger than anything, right?

ESPN was big but didn't do what S.I. was doing.

There was no internet that people were competing with.

It was Sports Illustrated.

It was Peter King's NFL column.

He had a Monday Night Football gig and I was his fact checker and read out of college. It was amazing and he is the sweetest
