Can we just admit that the NFL draft is about the best thing ever?

We are months away in any direction from any game action at all.

And yet, are you not entertained?

The NFL is such a content monster that there's even a bigger NFL story right now

than the NFL draft.

And don't worry, clones, I will get you an update on that salacious and smutty scandal that you need.

But I also have to give the draft credit for really delivering last night and then ripping the attention back.

Even in the alleged worst draft year ever, the NFL draft is still the best

thing ever. And for always, we had all kinds of twists and surprises last night. However,

maybe. Maybe the biggest surprise of all came from Les Sneed and Sean McVey and the LA Rams because the Rams absolutely shocked

the world by snatching up Ty Simpson with the 13th overall pick. And I say shocked the world

and apparently shocked Sean McVeigh too, at least based on how he seemed to react to the pick

in the aftermath.

Sean looked like Steam was about to shoot right out his ear holes when he and Les met with the media last night.

I mean, I'm no body language expert,

but I don't think I need to be to pick up on Sean's weirdness right there.
