Welcome to the Athletic Football Show. Today's Friday, January 21st. I'm Robert Mays. Joining me today. It's my good friend Nate Tyson. How you doing, buddy? Doing very well. I'm on the road right now recording these, but I'm like super excited. I feel like last year when we talked about these divisional games was like when we really like found a groove like just like the show like it was like oh my God,

playoffs or playoff football is freaking exciting like because now it's it's 17, well now 18 weeks,

17 games of like build up and like narratives ups and downs. And then it's like so a lot of this stuff is really funny because like I was writing notes and it's like man I feel like I've said a lot of this like 15 times before because hey these are what these teams are now we're in the playoffs I love being able to watch one game at a time it's just amazing to be able to focus on one game at a time it's my favorite thing this is my favorite weekend of the year sports wise I'm sad that I won't be able to focus on one game at a time. It's my favorite thing. This is my favorite weekend of the year, sports-wise. I'm sad that I won't be able to watch the Packers game live.

So just so you guys know, we will not have a Saturday review recap show like we did last week.

One of my friends, best friends of like 25 years is getting married.

When people are there for you in your life, you should be there for them.

So I will be at his wedding.

I will be watching that game on Sunday morning or late on Saturday night into Sunday morning before I go to Kansas City for the game.

But typically this is my favorite weekend of the year.

It still is.

Sunday is going to be an amazing day of watching live football games. Oh, no, that's going to be. I'm jealous. And you're all kinked up too for a kinked up hose from last week, you know, got taken away from you. So you're like, yeah, you're going to spread it on this trip. I am absolutely right. So we'll be talking about that game on another show later today so you guys be on

the lookout for that we're doing two shows just for recording reasons and other reasons we're

going to do a saturday show we're going to do a sunday show this one the saturday games we're

breaking down both saturday games in depth in detail this is really fun because with the preview show

just stays the same but the number of games shrinks.

So all that matters is, and all we had that happens is we just get to go deeper and deeper

onto the games that actually matter. And that's my favorite thing about this. So let's get
