We're live here talking about what's going to be the focus really of the start of the show

is that the NFL made a pretty rash decision. Maybe the way to phrase it is they made a logical decision according to some people, right? I think that's what we could look at it. But before we get to the NFL's choice on the supplemental draft, I welcome you and Brad with a Hardy, what's up, brother? How are you? I'm good. I'm good, brother. Didn't expect the ruling to come. I guess we should have expected it every day. I guess I just wasn't ready for it today.

I mean, I didn't even know that, I guess I think like most people, we didn't expect that this was going to be something that like, we didn't discuss it.

Did I miss it being discussed

out there other places brad where like people are like oh the nfels probably not even going to have

any sort of supplemental draft for him it just kind of felt like a foregone conclusion right

it did and i think it probably did to them and their their camp as well At least that's the way the letter comes across

or else they probably would have put some more into it. Right. You want to read some of that?

I mean, we don't have to read all of it, but I think there's some pretty pointed stuff here

about how the NFL felt particularly about his situation, the hurry of his situation and like the timeline. And

I think it harkens back to, before you read that, Brad, that everything for Sorsby has been

about making the system benefit him. You would agree with me on that. And then it had felt

to me like they thought getting into the supplemental draft was a foregone conclusion.

So the idea, from my perspective, you tell me if I'm wrong here, but the idea is essentially you got the injunction, then you got more pushback from more of the conference that was going to make life

possibly uncomfortable for Texas Tech. So you decided it's not worth it. This is how I interpreted

it. It's not worth it. I'll just enter the supplemental draft now that I can and get on with my
