Summary

The NFL Scouting Combine kicks off this week and top quarterback Fernando Mendoza has announced he will not throw during the drills and will only throw at his pro day for the Indiana Hoosiers. Sure this is disappointing, but it is a wise decision for Mendoza who had a long college schedule and has nothing to gain from the combine experience. The conversation around the top wide receivers will be even more interesting as Jordyn Tyson, Makai Lemon and Carnell Tate are all battling to be the first off the board. For different reasons, all three will have a spotlight on them this week. Finally, the edge rushers will go early in the first round, but between Arvell Reese, Rueben Bain and David Bailey, there are reasons for concerns for all three that may not be resolved at the combine.
