So we do want to talk a little draft here, and we've got some major events for the draft universe. So we do want to talk a little draft here.

And we've got some major events for the Minnesota Vikings.

I'm going to start you out in a little bit of a different place, Eric.

Let's just say that you were J.J. McCarthy over the last week.

Like, how you feel?

Let me get in my Zen mode.

Yeah, get in your Zen mode.

Do your meditation and so forth. I mean, because talk about a whirlwind for this guy where

he comes into the league, tears his meniscus, watches someone else win 14 games with what's

supposed to be his franchise. They get rid of that guy, say now you have to be that guy.

Then you get hurt three,

four more times in your season and your GM is fired. And welcome to the national football league,

my friend. And they were a game out of being in postseason competition. You know, I mean,

it was crazy. It was like they were, they were just that much farther behind

everybody else. Yeah. I mean, it's, it was, it was wild to watch. And, um, you know, I always root for guys to have success. You know what I mean? Not everybody's going to succeed in this league. You know that, but obviously you don't want flops. You're not looking for, um, always kind of felt like JJ's route was going to be

a little bit different. Now, obviously, you can't predict all the injuries and everything.

And you certainly can question, you know, the approach to Darnold and how they did that and

whether there was a legitimate plan B to get any kind of insurance for him as well, too.

But, yeah, stricken with bad luck, unfortunate circumstances, and now where are we?

You know, how do you weigh JJ's future at this point based on what we've seen so far?
