It's been a very busy week for Doug Collins Newscaster.

However, I can finally start a show without talking about a fresh axing.

We all know the Nico Harrison and Brian Dable firings were essentially no-brainers and a long time coming.

However, today, we have another no-brainer move as part of the fallout from Dave's getting run out of New York.

No-brainer move being the Russet has been demoted.

Finally.

Finally, our guy James has been elevated above Russell Wilson on the giant step chart.

What took so long?

You see, I already like Mike Kafka.

I like this dude better than I never liked daves.

And I barely even know him.

Considering I've been supporting James

ahead of Russet since summertime.

Now, it's not actually really official.

And in the sense that he hasn't been officially promoted ahead of the spud.

However, he is QB1 this week with Jackson Darts still in concussion protocol.

Something Kafka announced this morning in his first comments to the media as the Giants' interim head coach.

First and foremost, I want to make Tim Kelly our offensive coordinator.

Really smart coach.

He'll help us tie in the run game, the past game.

Does a great job with a lot of good experiences that bank on.
