He is back with his family. I'm Greg Rosenthal, along here with a room full of heroes.

Chris Wesseling, Mark Cessler, and Zach, the gold standard behind the glass.

I'm not saying what up, boys. I'm not going to do it.

Hey, how are you, Greg? I'm doing well. How Mary Christmas. How was your Christmas, Mark Cessler?

It was great. I had a day at home with the family. Very relaxing. I know that Wesseling was pounding away at the post that day.

I was working. Wesseling did a little work. Little reading. You went to the pool.

You went to the pool. I read Johnny Carson Bography. It was a nice Christmas.

I like I like Christmas. You know, I missed first time I wasn't with my family back in Massachusetts.

But no traveling. We went to the beach. We grilled. I don't know. I don't know if I can go back to the old Christmas.

It was 80 degrees. It was outstanding. And you know, now we're relaxed.

We're focused. We were back in the office on Thursday. We've got a big week of games.

Mark and I and Chris, we were just talking about how last year week 17 didn't have nearly the drama that this one did.

And let's start where all the drama was happening on Friday morning.

The Dallas Cowboys announced that Tony Romo underwent back surgery on Friday morning.

He is out. He is going to injured reserve. No more drama there. Kyle Orton will start.

Chris Wesseling, you just have a little gut feeling that maybe just maybe that's not the worst news in the world for Des Bryant.

Yeah, I'm not saying Kyle Orton is better than Tony Romo.

But Romo has a tendency to ignore Des Bryant when he's covered, not believe in his catch radius.

His ability to come down and traffic with the ball. I could see Kyle Orton just slinging it around the field, losing the inhibition that Romo had.
