Continuing our division preview series with the NFC South.

You know, not the most exciting division in the league.

You know, a lot of teams that are in transition, but I think a few notable off-season,

you know, what the Falcons

did, with Kirk Cousins, everything that the Panthers did to try to set up Bryce Young for success.

And we have this Bucks team that I think surprised a lot of people last year, bringing back a huge

core of their roster and their depth chart, trying to build on what that season looked like.

So excited to dig into all

of that with Derek. Let's get to it.

Joining me now is my co-host here at the Amputting Football Show. It's Derek Klaus and Derek,

how you doing, man? I'm doing great today, man. The weather is getting mildly better over here. It's really feeling like the season of football, so we're doing good. I'm home. The weather is not good here. It's raining outside. My dog is having, like, a wonderful, lazy day. It's actually been nice to be back with her because I haven't spent a day at my house in a very long time. So it's good to be back in my

office, could be recording my office. I have not recorded an episode of the athletic football show from

this chair, I think, in like a month and a half. We haven't done the show together with you at home.

We have not done the show together while I've been in my house. Because even in July, I was in

Colorado for a little bit. And then I went to L.A. to talk to Sean McVeigh and then essentially went straight to training camp from there. So it's been a very long time since I've gotten to do this. I got my monitor back. I got my camera set up correct. I'm feeling really good right now. and I better be feeling really good because this is not the most fun division to talk about. I'm going to have to be feeling really good to start this thing if we're going to get to the end. We're doing the NFC South today. Obviously, not quite the headline grabbing group that the AFC North was, but that's why we wanted to do it early. It's like, you know what? We can't start with this, but we can do it second. So we're going to talk about NFC South

teams today. Before we do that, some even shittier news to get this thing kicked off. Matt

Milano, Bill's linebacker, Matt Milano, has a torn bicep. He is going to be out indefinitely.

This is catastrophic, potentially.

This is a huge, huge deal.
