I'm Robert Mays. Joining me today. It's my good friend Nate Tyson. How you doing, buddy? Doing well. This is 8 of 8. We're completing the set. Our last division preview, we're doing the NFC East today. These have been fun. They have been robust, but they have been fun. And this is, I've always done something like this heading

1:11.5

into the season. When I was at the ringer, I did power rankings for all 32 teams. We've,

1:16.2

I've done division previews on this show since we started this show. It's a really good precursor.

1:21.3

It's a really good way to get ready for the season and just get used to every single team.

1:25.6

So even if there's been a lot for you guys to

1:27.9

comb through on the feed here over the last month with these episodes, I hope that you've learned

1:32.1

something. I hope that you'll look at these teams in a slightly different way because it's a very

1:36.0

useful exercise on my end. And I hope that you guys also get something out of it by the time this is

1:41.6

all over. Yeah, we end up with 14 playoff teams and, you know, two Super Bowl finalists and all that. But it really does start with 32 teams start in this race. And to say that we can always predict exactly what's going to happen is just like, no, that's a fool's error. I'm not trying to do that. I'm not trying to do that. What I'm saying is that having, it's really illuminating to like talk about some of these teams that having been focused on for six months and, you know, that aren't in the national limelight. So it's fun for even me and you because then when some of these teams will become relevant that maybe we didn't think so, boom, where it's like, hey, okay, what do we, how do we feel about this team like two months ago? What changed? As opposed to just catching up at Halloween, some team is six and two or something like that. And you're like, what is this team about? At least we have some feel for whoever comes, rises or descends this season. Yeah, we have a set. I mean, I see the depth charts in my sleep. I'm literally laying in bed and just seeing the RLADs pages at the stage of the calendar.

2:18.3

There was a stretch in my life, I'm literally laying in bed and just seeing the RLADs pages at the stage of the

2:34.7

calendar. There was a stretch in my life, and I probably could right now get close to naming

2:40.3

the 22 starters for all 32 teams if you just like asked me to list them off. Now with injuries,

2:45.0

like the Texans offensive line would be tough right now. But I think I could get close. And I

2:49.5

think that's why it's fun to do this every single year. On the prediction side, I wanted to say one thing. Through these shows, I'm not trying to pinpoint who's going to be good or bad or who's going to be better than we think. That's not what the goal of these are. The goal of these, I think, is to give some context to what teams are doing the way that teams are constructed and the way that teams are thinking. When I lay out some of the stuff that I heard on these trips or the plan that a certain team has on offense, I'm not saying that it's a foolproof plan or that it's absolutely going to work or it's the right thing. It's more so this is the context around what this team is doing and what they're thinking about and how they need to grow and evolve. You take from this what you will. I just wanted to make that clear. It's what they're thinking and how this could work. Yes. Certain things that happened or what they're thinking in August, things change so quickly. Like teams have plans and you're going to do this.
