It's time now to get back into the power rankings for the NFC East.

Today's unit to focus on the offensive line.

And spoiler alert, the commanders do not have the fourth-ranked unit in the NFC East.

Of all the units we've gone through, this might be one of the better ones as far as where we match up, you know, relative to everybody else. So we'll go four all the way up to number one, starting with number four, the New York Giants who were put to sleep by their new head coach John Harbaugh in that speech that we just listened to a few minutes ago.

Andrew Thomas is a stud in the room, but the rest of the line is a work in progress for the Giants,

which led them to spending high draft capital on Francis Malagoa number 10 overall out of Miami to help

upgrade that unit.

He allowed just two sacks in 522 pass blocking plays in 2025.

The big question for this group, can they help keep Jackson Dart out of the blue

medical tent in 2026, where he spent a lot of time as a rookie?

So they're looking to add pieces around Andrew Thomas, but it's not quite good enough to get them out of the number four spot, in my opinion. Isn't a lot of that, though, because he was just taken off, right? Dart. It wasn't because he was getting pummeled in the pocket. Yeah, he was taken off. Yeah. I mean, that's certainly a part of it. He's a smaller guy. I mean, if you're Harbaugh and the offensive staff there, you want him to play a little more under control, rely on his offensive line to buy him time and to seek out his weapons instead of just tucking the ball and running.

I'm telling you, I saw a video or these guys that, like, evaluate the way people like foot plant and all this stuff and the way their feet work and everything. Yeah. And they were just totally mocking the way, like, Jackson Dart walks and runs. Oh, really? And, like, he's basically a disaster waiting to happen, an injury waiting to happen. Okay. Yes, we'll see how that bears out. Keep that in the back of your mind. It's interesting that Cakes ranks them fourth in the division. I'm just looking at an offensive line ranking page on a website. They've got the Giants 10th overall.

Really?

10th and, well, maybe. Now, a lot of that has to do with the health of Andrew Thomas they're talking about, but they also went out and drafted Malgwa, who's going to be a starter as a rookie, but they're pretty high on them. Look, nobody's ever confused me with Warren Sharpe. Let me just put that out there. All right, we'll take it. You might be right. You might be right. All right, so I have the Giants at four. I have the commanders at number three in the NFC East. Not much better. Laramie Tonsel and Josh Connolly, they're an above average tackle tandem, mainly carried by Tunsell. I mean, he's basically a future Hall of Famer. Though Connolly looks stronger and leaner heading into year two for the commanders. And he's still very young.
