The Welcome or welcome back to another edition of Nightmarefeels and Peepers.

The final revisiting of some of my favorite early nightmare fuel stories since tomorrow is Halloween.

And tomorrow you will get a new Halloween story called The Dead House.

Today we are revisiting sleep paralysis.

Originally released last October, Friday the 18th,

I was nervous about attempting to tell a story that is so deeply rooted in Hmong culture as a white dude.

I wanted it to come across as

respectful. I think it's good to try and imagine life from someone outside of your own culture's

perspective. Some consider that to be cultural appropriation. But would it be better to only stay in your

own narrow little lane and try not to access the minds of other genders,

beliefs, and races. I don't think so personally. I think the world would be better if we all

tried to understand each other a little bit more and be reminded how similar we all truly are.

It was fun to set this story in one of my favorite cities. I toured through San Francisco doing

stand-up comedy so many times over the years.

I feel like I've lived there for a while.

And it was very fun to revisit it.
