We are here to discuss what we're going to be spending the next six weeks talking about

on our show which is

HBO's new comedy the regime comedy dramedy sure kind of a lot

a lot of things but we should yeah we should get into why we chose this show.

I mean, I think the obvious answer would be one, Kate Winslet, right?

Yes.

I feel like Kate Winslet makes, I mean, it's not like it's her first TV show,

it's her third show for HBO, her third limited series I should say, but yes it's still

feels like an event whenever she makes an appearance on TV.

Yeah she hasn't made a bad show for HBO because she did you know obviously Milchard Pierce and

Mary Vestown most recently she she has interesting taste and there's a

pedigree behind this show beyond her in that it's from Will Tracy who was a writer on Succession he used to work on last week

tonight with John Oliver and he made the movie the menu so he's good at a kind of

dark satire of wealth and power.

Yeah, Krista what's exciting to you about this show?

Within the land of our podcast, obviously, you know, having Kate Winslet do television is fantastic.
