Later on in the show, we're going to sit down with Jacob Hester for our usual back and

forth, but before we did that, I wanted to recap Coach O's press conference.

He recorded at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

I'm sitting down right after that about 1150 on Tuesday.

Talk with Jacob on Monday just to give you a perspective on the timing of everything.

Obviously, Coach O talked about, me and Jacob talked about the big news of the weekend,

which was Jamar Chase opting out, and I believe on Monday it came out that Tyler Shelvin was

also opting out as LSU's roster gets

a little bit thinner.

But we're going to talk about that all in depth here on today's show.

Before we get to Coach those audio clips, just a couple things.

One, on the conversation in the conversation with Jacob Hester, at one point I kind of go on a

little bit of a rant or get on a pulpit, if you will. First of all, blame my heritage. My grandfather was a Southern Baptist preacher, getting on a pulpit, runs in the family. My father was a principal. We just love to get in front of people and talk and lecture. And I went on a little bit of a rant. I don't think it was too bad. but just to give you a little bit of a warning, you'll see you when you get there. It's just kind of me talking about fan culture and how fans treat athletes, and I have some strong opinions on that. Try to be fair and continue to try to be fair, but I just wanted to give you a heads up. And if it gets a little preachy, I apologize.
