Will has written a book several years ago, but it is still very relevant.

Melvin, let me ask you out of the gate, since I haven't talked to you before about it,

you obviously played in it, or a big part of it. Last year was probably the biggest game ever in it.

From a former player standpoint, how is this Carolina Duke rivalry changed for you being a guy that was in the arena versus now being a guy that's watching the game like the rest of us?

I think one thing that is the same, I'll never go over there to watch a game. So that will

always be from the comfort of my home. I'll never go over to Duke and watch it. I am taking my

oldest boy to the game on Saturday, so we'll be in there to watch that. I think that right before our eyes, I mean, I'm 41 years old now.

I never thought I see today.

You know it's coming, but you don't expect it so soon or whatever,

where there's no coach Kay.

There's no Dean Smith.

There's no coach Guthrush.

There's no coach Roy Williams in this rivalry. So I think it's happening before our eyes. We're going to see new villains, new good guys, bad guys. You know, everyone used to hate Christian Laytoner, the JG Reddicks, or whatever have you. But we're going to see new villains and new stars
