Hello, hello. And between Josh and I, you, my dear listeners, are going to find out who the true detective is,

because ultimately Josh and I are here to try and figure out what the hell is going on with this show.

We're going to try our best.

Well, we did a podcast, Josh, you and I were joined by JC a couple weeks ago.

We talked about the first three

episodes of the show. Now we are back to talk about episodes four, five, and six, and what has

transpired in this, I guess what you would call the midsection of the third season of

True Detective. And Josh and I were talking about this offline.

And I think we have,

save for maybe a few interesting moments here and there,

sprinkled throughout,

I think that our worst fears that we talked about

in the first episode have kind of come true.

And we are really

starting to lose interest in this show now. Yeah, it's unfortunate. I would say that nothing in

this season so far approaches anything as bad as the second season. We can at least say that. I am in

agreements with you on that. Yeah. Oh yeah. No, no, no. Nothing has become quite that terrible. But I think

ultimately, this is a show that is really starting to really dive headfirst into its mystery element.

And I feel like in doing so, it is losing a little bit of those great character moments. And as the mystery keeps going on, I just find myself getting less invested in that.
