I can't riff right now. I beat you there. It's just it's just the cards told me

that was going to be a bad day today because we are talking about not a bad day.

The Ouija board. Right, exactly. Um, I sat down and, you know, um,

opened up my spirit to the ether, and it said today we are talking about newsies.

Newsies. This is one we've been getting requested quite a lot, um,

although as we discussed before we started recording, we weren't quite clear

if people were really excited about the Disney version or the stage version.

So, yeah, through much discussion, we've decided to go with the stage version

because this is after all a musical podcast. So we assume that's what you guys wanted.

And if not, well, then tough shit. Yeah, more specific.

Yeah, that's about what we, I'm sure we will, we will touch upon the movie in some

fashion in this discussion, but yes, specifically we are going to be talking about

the stage version presented by Disney theatrics. I get, I get, this is like one of those

moments where I'm like, I have to admit a cultural blind spot here, but it's not

really a blind spot because I have seen the original newsies, but I've not seen it
