Yes, blood, blood, we start Monday with blood, the proverbial crimson mask, etc.

The blood topic came up during Nick Carnes podcast with Light Shed Partners and in the discussion on making an edgier products of WWE Raw and Smackdown,

Nick Khan indicated that NBC Universal

may very well be supportive of such a thing happening, including possibly the return of more bloodshed

in a wrestling match on WWE. Something that we don't see in this day and age. We had a moment during the Hell in a cell match at

Wrestle mania where Finn Balas suffered a terrible cut to the top of his head

cameras cut away from that completely so we didn't see anything.

There was there was very few shots of Finbala's face whilst that was happening to

kind of keep the bloodshed down. That might change. Nick Carnes said when we're specifically talking

about the 10 to 11 hour on Raw, we specifically are talking to NBCU and ourselves about what we can do with that moving forward.

We think that NBCU would be supportive, but we are not on a final conclusion on that.

With TV deals expiring and WWE's merger with Endeavor on the horizon.

There are hopes that a new deal could be struck with NBC Universal that could see a third

hour of raw present a more edgy, maybe dare I say, attitude-era-esque

formats. This is just one of the things that came up during Nick Carnes conversation on Light Shed Partners.

He also addressed rumors of Vince McMahon taking back creative control, something that we have talked about a fair bit on the cultaholic

wrestling news in the past few weeks and months mainly since that episode of
