Wrestling. I'm Wilborn and I'm Michael Hanflick. And this is the after news. So what is the deal

Michael Hanflick with CM Punk's obviously out since January with the

triceps and he returned to screw Drew McIntyre at class at the

castle and then Drew McIntyre killed him at the subsequent Smackdown

in Chicago.

So this has led to a lot of speculations to his status within

W.W. Right now, is he going to be back wrestling at, let's say, SummerSlam?

Well, it's not looking great at the time being because Sean Ross

sat was talking on Fight Force Select, Q&A Podcast, one of the best podcasts out there, you

know, there's not ours and was asked about what's going on with punk, a bit of an update on his injury status and sat noted that as of this Friday

Punk didn't get any clearance he said he wasn't cleared as of last Friday. That's why they had to get creative with him. That's why basically you didn't see

Drew Magdire kill him backstage at Smackdown. Instead he just brought out punk with like the

clown makeup around of his mouth and then dumped his corpse at ringside effectively.

So one would hope that he's just on the road to recover and he will be back in time for Summer

Slam, but for the time being yeah

concerning in terms of how long he's still taken to recover from this but it is a

triceps injury these things take time I suppose of course we wouldn't be doing our job if we didn't

explain it wasn't the only reason why we didn't see the attack on SmackDown was because otherwise
