Hello, Prestige heads, and welcome to American Prestige. I'm Danny Bessner,

here as always with my friend and comrade Derek Davison.

Actually, I'm leaving. I'm sorry. Yeah.

And we are excited to bring you the news. Derek, let's jump into it. Let's start with Russia,

Ukraine, and let's start with probably the biggest international news of the last week,

which was this Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's strategic nuclear forces.

So, Derek, what happened?

Yeah, this came as something of a surprise, I would say.

On Sunday, the Ukrainian military carried out a series of drone strikes, targeting air bases, all over Russia, some of them in the east,

actually quite far from Ukraine. They attacked Russia's strategic bomber fleet. There were also, I think,

some command and control planes that were targeted in this strike.

The whole thing took, according to the reporting that I've seen since the attack,

took about 18 months to plan. They had to get these quadcopter drones smuggled into Russia and put on trucks in boxes and then released them at the right time

when those trucks were near the bases that they were trying to target.
