Let's kick this one off by talking about Gunfer versus Seth Rollins. This is a bit of an eyebrow razor on this week's episode of Raw because while we are all, we've all been speculating on who these gentlemen might wrestle at Mania, nobody would really have sat there before Raw and gone each other. Something made sense, didn't it? Well, yeah, the question was for Goonfer, will he get on the card? Because his scheduled opponent, Ray, almost said Ray Winston. Ray Mysterio. Not a celebrity match. Yeah. I mean, that would be quite fun. Ray Mysterio has been injured. So what's going to happen with Goonfer? Will they get another

report in? And with Rollins, it was a question of, is Bronbreaker going to be ready in time

to do that story? Well, it turns out that Bronbreaker is ready, but they've decided to do this

instead. So this is an update from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, saying that this

match actually, Goonfer versus Rollins, has been the plan for several weeks.

So the plan was always for the chokeout angle

that happened at Madison Square Garden last night.

This doesn't have anything to do with Bronbreaker not being cleared,

because he is cleared. He's ready to go.

But they decided not to rush into that match is the language that's used here.

They say that the idea of doing that match is still very much alive later down the road,

but they want a proper television build time.

And Gunfer being the opponent actually stemmed from the injury to Bronson Reed as well

which impacted the plans that you're going to talk about in the second story here.

So I think that on the night it'll be a good match and I think that they'll probably find a way to get there.

I will say I don't buy the idea that the rushing into doing break. I think that's

nonsense. Like if you were doing breaker versus Rollins, it's already had a year's build. Yeah.

Like at this stage. What do you mean rushing in WWE? So I actually, I disagree with them on that

part. I can understand maybe wanting to hold off on it. but come on, you could just do the first one at

mania and build from there.
