On today's solo Sunday news, could the elite jump to WWE? There's the latest on LA

0:06.7

night's WWE future. There's an update on the Hardee's TNA status and it is the end of the road

0:13.6

first thing. Hello and welcome to World Culture Wrestling, the solo Sunday news, myself, Andrew

0:18.7

Pallard. I hope you're good. I hope you're well. I hope your week you're well. I hope your whole holiday season is going as well as possible. Now, in our first story of the day, is there a chance that the elite could be switching AEW for WWE at some point? Now, don't rule it out, kind of. That is the answer here. Now, that topic came up on the latest edition of Fy4 Select Answers Q&A,

0:38.3

where Sean Ross-Sapp was asked about the contract status of Kenny Omega and the Young Books

0:42.5

and whether he could see them signing for WWE at some point down the line.

0:45.9

Now, on that, SRS noted that Kenny signed a four-year contract extension in 2023,

0:51.9

meaning he's tied down until at least 2027.

0:54.6

Also, given Omega's lengthy absences from TV due to injury and health issues,

0:59.8

there is always a chance that time could be tacked on to that deal if AW wanted to go that route.

1:04.4

Now, as for the Young Bucks, the Jackson's are likewise signed until at least 2027,

1:09.8

though Sean Ross Sapp also mentioned about how he's not

1:12.4

totally sure whether they still have their EVP duties anymore.

1:15.8

And as for the possibility of the elite head into WWE, it's a bit of a mixed bag of an answer there.

1:21.2

Now, SRS personally does not see Kenny Omega ever go into WWE unless it's on a part-time

1:26.5

basis or simply a one-off match, simply due to Kenny knowing that his matches are limited these days. I mean, you just have to look at Kenny's matches for this year as an indicator of that. Now, his last one-on-one match was back in, well, back in July at All In. That was the unification match with Zucho Okada. And before that, I believe his last one-on-one match was a, it was kind of that five-minute match with Blake Christian back in March. Big fan of Blake Christian over here, very, very talented guy. But the point being that Kenny's still, yes, he's back on TV. Yes, he's back wrestling. But he's still dealing with a lot, which is why when we do see him wrestle, It tends to be part of a tag match, a trio's match, a five-on-five match, whatever, where it's not as physically taxing or as, I guess, as physically intense would be, because even in those tag matches, you see him do some crazy stuff, but it's more, I guess, physically intense is the better term there, where a one-on-one match is just you and another person for however long, rather than, you know, mix it up in a tag match where you can bounce out of the ring for a little bit. But yeah, I mean, when you're used to seeing Kenny Omega over the years doing, you know, these standard one-on-one, 20 or 30-minute matches, I mean, obviously we've seen them do matches for an hour before, and more than that, even, that kind of became like, you become accustomed to that with the best bout machine over the years. So, so, yeah, Kenny is still dealing with a lot. But yes, Sean Rossap does not see Kenny ever land in the W&E unless it's part-time or a one-off. And let's face it, when do you think of it, when has WVE ever really brought somebody in, as in somebody who's never

2:51.0

worked for the company? Yes, Kelly was in Deep South before that. I know that, but that doesn't really count for this point. But when has somebody, well, when has WB ever brought somebody in who's never worked for them before and brought them in straight away on a part-time schedule? I mean, it doesn't really happen. I mean, yes, you could possibly say Sting, but Sting was a lot older and Kenny, I think Sting was what, 54 when he signed with W.E., 53.

3:11.1

I know disrespect to Kenny Omega, one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation and beyond, but Sting, he'd done a lot more in his career. It's a simple fact there, so he's a bigger name. Now, as for the young books, though, Sean Ross-Sapp thinks there's a far more likely possibility that they could have a run in WWE at some point. Although that, again, that's far from nailed on.

3:28.1

Just the... young bucks though, Sean Ross-Sapp thinks there's a far more likely possibility that they could have a run in WWE at some point. Although that, again, that's far from nailed on, just the, just the point being that they're far more likely than Kenny Omega. I mean, they don't have the health issues that Kenny does. They could work a more frequent schedule than Kenny could. They could be brought in as, you know, as a full-time talent in the tag division.

3:59.3

And man, those tag divisions could do with some pumping up right now, let alone, you know, in 20287, we'll see how things are then. And you know what? If the books did land at WW, that would certainly mean a lot more international travel. Now, sure, AW, they run the UK once or twice a year, be that for a big pay-per-view, or around the, as recently seen in Cardiff and Manchester. But WWE, they tend to involve a lot more international travel. And on that front, well, if the young bucks end up signing for WBE at some point down the line and find themselves wrestling PLEs in Italy, the UK, France, wherever, well, they can still get access to all of their usual content from back home by using

4:15.0

a trusty VPN. And on that front, Norton VPN offers increased security that allows you to

4:20.3

stay, stay for online. And when you know it, but we've got a fantastic deal on right now, yes,
