the last day of a week of unmitigated success, of winning on every front. I'm very excited to break it down. I think that's what I'm going to do today is sort of do a week in review, and with the

Kavanaugh thing, a slightly longer period of time in review,

just so we can step back and look at things from a bird eye view and really understand exactly what's going on,

not while we're down in the mess, you know, being bombarded with all this information,

but up in the sky as a bird flying over and seeing the world for what it really is from a bird's eye

view. That's what we're going to try to do today. Obviously, the biggest story of the day is that the

Senate passes the cloture motion setting up a weekend vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh for Supreme Court.

So the struggle is nearing its end. It's passing the penultimate hurdle. The ultimate hurdle

will be this Saturday when the Senate votes to confirm. Of course, there's still some up in the air,

whether or not certain senators will vote to confirm or not. We'll see. But this was one of the big hurdles. This was one of the

big stopping points. This is when the Senate comes together and votes and says, all right, we've talked

enough. That's enough debate. A debate in the Senate is specifically designed to be infinite,

to just go on forever. That's how they designed the Senate on purpose. And so you have to

come together and say, okay, we're done talking now. Now it's time to take the vote. So they've done that.

They came together today this morning. They voted. They passed the motion. The Senate passed its
