Malthus, you see that his big concern was that there was an increasing population and you had a

planet with fixed resources so that you needed to take you know proactive or

indirect measures sometime maybe a combination of both.

There were ways that you could curb the population.

through disease, and then you could also do it in maybe proactive ways by
