So Jerome Powell just came out and made the big announcement.

obviously slacking a bit.

There you go, we got it he came out and he said he came out and he said we're gonna hit the

pause button no rate hike today. So let's get right over to see NBC and see what he had to say.

With this one, you know there's a lot more what he says is going to have a lot more

a lot bigger impact than the actual decision itself although I yesterday the odds makers, the market was a 99% chance that he'd pause.

Obviously they were right, but 99% I didn't, that seemed a little too much.

So my guess, and I haven't even read the article by the way,

but my guess is that he paused, but it's a hawkish pause.

And that's how they're kind of walking that tight rope so let's go over to the

C NBC home page and check this out and this is my first time reading it because I just got back to my office. So Fed declines to hike

but points to rates staying higher for, literally exactly what I just said.

So that's, if you saw my video yesterday,

I was making a very strong argument

looking at it through the lens of Jerome Powell as to why he would raise rates today or why the 1% was too low as far as the odds the market was giving it.

So this, I should have thought of this yesterday,

that he'd try to just balance it out by pausing,

but yet saying, the economy's on fire, that we've got all this to worry about inflation we've got it is we're going to be strong we're going to be tough we're going to be blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and the reason he's doing that is just to talk down the markets and hopefully through psychology

increased the unemployment rate although he doesn't have to do that through
