Paul Heyman did use the phrase, the wolf across the river in referring to Tony Kahn.

He was a little bit more complimentary than that soundbite might seem,

but he did say, as relates to, compensation packages, this was. He said there was a wolf across

the river named Tony Carn that had a billion dollar checkbook. He could afford to pay a lot more money

than talent was making back in 2017, 2018, 2019. So it changed the compensation for talent. And

they're on, they being AW, a viable network.

They have a style that's different from WWE.

They present an alternative, if not competitive brand.

So am I glad they're there?

Absolutely.

Love the fact there's an alternative for the audience.

Love the fact there's something else out there.

Love the fact that captures the imagination of the pro wrestling fans slash sports entertainment, if we even use that phrase today. I wish there were more promotions out there right now. It's going to make us work harder to be better than all of them and we certainly have the advantage in terms of distribution and in terms of lineage in this industry.
