All right, everybody. Welcome back to another edition of the tear down my name is

juff luck along with my co-worker jordan bianchi we are motorsports writers for the athletic

and we are here with another off-season podcast uh we were thinking of doing themes uh leading up

to the clash and the Daytona 500 but then it was a pretty busy news week,

at least for Jordan here,

who broke two stories this week.

And we'll talk about that in a moment.

But I was on jury duty for most of the week on a case that was not very fun

on a trial dealing with sexual assault.

So that was my week while Jordan was holding down the fort and breaking all sorts of news.

Jordan, a big week for you, big week.

Yeah, I feel bad.

I mean, we had two different weeks, let's just say, very different weeks.

And I feel bad that you had to go through what you went through. That can't be fun.

Can't imagine having to go through that process. But on the motorsport side, the toy department

side, if you will, yeah, busy week. I mean, I don't think, I mean, honestly, the stuff that came, the biggest shocking thing was the Kyle Larson Indy 500 thing that seemed to kind of come out of nowhere a little bit, which was incredible to kind of put together and that Rick Hendricks is going to be involved as well.

And, you know, from based on whatyle said uh the other day this doesn't he

doesn't give the impression that this is necessarily a one-off that this could be the first of

a multiple attempts so you know we'll obviously get into all that but yeah very busy week

lots to discuss and it's going to be uh i think at Daytona looking at it is going to be very

interesting a lot of different

storylines.
