Hello there my very good friends, on today's wrestling news, this major WWE stars contract

expires in January and they are teasing AEW, Mick Foley reckons WWE is no longer the place

for wrestling talent to aspire to, and what WWE has got planned for the new version of NXT,

I'm Adam Wilbur, and I'm Andy Murray, and this is the news, we're going to kick this

thing off by talking about Kevin Owens, his WWE contract expires in January 2022, this

is according to a new report from Fightful Select, it's all good, we'll get the timing,

we'll get the timing right, we're still getting used to this, Fightful Select coming through

with the new report, apparently, so back in May 2018, Kevin Owens announced that he'd

signed a new 5 year contract with WWE which would last until 2023, however, at the beginning

of the global bastard, back in March or whatever, in 2020, WWE actually reconfigured and

renegotiated a bunch of contracts, so they've shortened this contract for some reason,

and now it is up in January 2022, now, interesting part of this, is that yesterday on social

media, Kevin Owens was being a bit of a scamp, he was being a bit of a rascal because

he teased AEW by tweeting out the coordinates of Mount Rushmore, he quickly deleted this

tweet, but it was there, and it's immortalised in screenshot form, what is the significance

of Mount Rushmore, you might ask, PWG, Kevin Owens was an a stable cult Mount Rushmore

with the Youngbugs and Adam Cole, and they are now reunited in AEW, so it's got the

wheels of speculation going this story of course, Kevin Owens has been in WWE since 2014,

relative to other people who've come through NXT and moved up, I'd say he's had a really

good run, but hey, it's exciting this isn't it?

Yeah, we should caveat this story with Kevin Owens as a scamp, he's a rascal, he loves

doing this sort of thing, but like you said, the facts are there, WWE inexplicably went,
