Right, starting things off with kind of a major story, but kind of something a lot of us had already presumed, but it's been confirmed that yes, Warner Brothers Discovery does indeed own a stake in AEW.

Now, this comes from an article on CNN's website, which was discussing politics in wrestling,

as in actual real-life politics, political stances, not the sort of politics where I say,

I don't know, Triple Age Berries, Rob Van Dam or Bucketty.

But in this article, there's an interesting line that outright states that Warner Brothers

Discovery owns a minority stake in AEW.

What gives this particular credence and legitimacy, of course, is that Warner Brothers Discovery,

as is noted in this article, is CNN's parent company.

So this is an article written on CNN by CNN, who are owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.

So this is legit as legit gets.

Now, it's not been revealed exactly how much of a stake WBD has in AEW, but it's seemingly

less than 10% because anything over 10% would, well, that would need to be publicly declared,

publicly disclosed due to WBD being a publicly traded company.

It's also not known what if any rights WBD have as part of this stake,

nor whether the stake increased as part of AW's latest media rights deal,
