to the end of this barmy year, the barmyest of all years in wrestling if you ask me.

And thankfully today is not as crazy. There's still a few weird stories that are out there that

got dropping throughout the festive period because we are not stopping that content train just

because there's snow outside that's just not what we do. Before we actually go into the

the the meeting bones of all the new stories that we've got today I think it is important though

to just take a minute just to pay tribute to Don West because if you're not aware of this by now

over the last 24 hours we lost Don West to his battle with cancer. He was 59 years old. He's

known predominantly for his time in impact where he was one of the voices of impact on the

commentary desk and just a really sad time isn't it a lot of wrestling figures out there

have already paid tribute to him on Twitter social media and we're just taking the time to do that now

everyone here at WhatCulture we send our thoughts and prayers and everything else to Don's

family at an awful time dreadful way to end of the year so yeah that's I don't want to say

a quick tribute because there's just not enough time to really dive into everything that you want

to talk about with Don West but yeah that's just tipping the cap to the great Don West so moving on

to the first my seismic story in terms of actual in-ring action that went on last night was the

return a huge return out of nowhere of Charlotte Flair I know I don't see it coming I don't think

you did either but she was on Smackdown the last Smackdown of 2022 because Ronda Rousey defended
