Hello, fellow rebel capitalists, hope you're well, so breaking news.

0:03.5

Another bank stock is crashing.

0:07.0

I mean crash, I'm talking about down 27%

0:12.2

just in the last few minutes.

0:15.0

So I don't even know if this is in the mainstream media yet.

0:18.0

So let's go right over to Twitter or X or whatever the stupid name is now and check this out. So here we go. Bank of

0:29.6

California in Advanced Talks to Buy Pack West. Now the initial thought here is well usually

1:39.8

therefore Bank of California came in and purchase them, but they did not purchase them at a market

1:47.2

cap or the equivalent of wherever the shares were trading today.

1:51.4

They most likely purchased them at a much, much lower price. And again, I want to be very, very clear. I know nothing

1:58.1

about mergers and acquisitions. I don't know how that works. I've never studied it. I've never

2:02.4

talked about it on a white board.
