So this is really exciting stuff.

There's a lot of nuance here.

You guys know my position on this,

and these politicians don't understand the monetary system at all.

But I think once you get down to the local level, for me this becomes a lot more interesting

and I think a lot more doable. I don't know how this would play out and I want to get through some of the plumbing here which they talk about and I haven't yet been able to tease through this whole idea.

Maybe I'll do a whiteboard video on it next week.

I don't know how possible this would be.

And I don't know if it's realistic, if it's not.

It's definitely not realistic at a federal level.

We did a video yesterday, it said,

gold would have to go up to $350,000 an ounce roughly,

and there's so many logistical issues there

that, although it's on a zero probability

it's like super super low there would have to be in my opinion so some sort of

cataclysmic event in order for the US to go back to a gold standard.

But at a state level, I don't know.
