news for June 1st, 2026. First up, Lippert is recalling over 11,000 curt touring coil suspension systems.

The retainer bolts attaching the shocks may be improperly tightened, and there have been

reports of the boltheads shearing off.

These are going to be 2026 units from many different RV manufacturers.

You should get a recall notice in the mail from your RV's maker.

The fix is a new grade 8 bolt, upgraded from a grade 5, tightened, of course,

to the proper specifications this time. The recall is going to affect brands like Alliance,

Ember, Forest River, Keystone, Grand Design, anyone using the Kurt Touring Coil suspension.

There's no Do Not Drive tag to this recall, so you should be fine to go down the road with these,

but watch them carefully and get it taken care of soon.

You might want to check the torque yourself and then go in for the recall when you can to get the upgraded bolts.
