in RV and camping news. Welcome back, everybody. Fuel prices have risen dramatically over the

course of the past week as the U.S. and Israel's conflict with Iran continues.

A gallon of regular gas is now 347 on average in the U.S. up 48 cents from a week ago,

and 57 cents a gallon from a month ago.

Of course, that's an average.

Some people are seeing more of an increase, some people less.

And we've really just begun the typical spring increase where gas prices rise about

15 cents a gallon due to the change to the more expensive to produce summer blend, which

reduces smog during higher temperatures.

That increase sort of ramps up between March and April as refineries begin producing the

blend.

Gasoline demand starts to tick up as we approach the summer,

which typically increases gas costs by another 15 to 30 cents a gallon as people get out and drive

more. Right now, the average gallon of gasoline isn't much more than its high price in 2025,

but if the conflict continues, it will certainly go higher. The more dramatic swing in

price comes at the diesel pumps, where the average gallon in the U.S. is 465, up more than
