CNBC and predicting we are going to have a huge deflationary bust. Let's go right into this article and see why he is saying this and the

reason I wanted to use this billionaire in particular is because he's got some boots on the ground

Intel that I think other billionaires or other financial experts don't have. You'll see what

I'm referring to in just a minute. So billionaire

investor Barry Sternlecht, I believe that's how you pronounce his last name,

says inflation is going to drop hard, just look at rents. So the main reason why I think his insights are valuable is

because according to what he was saying here he's got massive amounts of

apartment buildings.

And if I wasn't mistaken, he's got 125,000 doors.

So 125,000 apartment units roughly.

And so he sees what's happening with rents.

And then rents are a big portion of the CPI.

So he is seeing rents coming down dramatically.

has a net worth of 4.6 billion. So this was in an interview with

the C. M.C. Squack Box. He said that he's kind of contrasting his view with

Jamie Diamond, who just came out with an annual letter to shareholders

saying that he sees the tail risk being for higher inflation and higher rates by the Fed.
