Right, let's talk about Eddie Kingston.

A lot of people might be wondering, where on earth is Eddie Kingston? I mean, the answer is primarily Ring of Honor in the Indies, right? But he's not been on AEW's mainline programming in freaking ages. The last time he had a match on AEW was the 7th of February episode of collision. Alright.

That was the parking lot fight on Las Vegas where you can see the strip in the background.

Really fun, really fun.

But yeah, he's just not been around on AEW television really since he returned.

It was quite a low-key return to wrestle Big Bill.

Yeah.

He had a world title match with Samoa Joe last year, which I thought was excellent. And he's had some really good stuff on the Indies. I loved the Charlie Evans match. I loved the one called Manders match from the other week. He's just not been around, but he's been asked about it. It's as part of a WXW documentary. That's the leading European indie, best in Germany, Oberhausen, if I'm'm not mistaken and here's what he said about his absence from AEW I don't know what to say bro like I said to the people business is business sometimes you're on and sometimes you're nut I tell people sometimes you're the hammer and sometimes you're the nail I get to my own head and I start doubting myself a lot but then when I go out there and I hear people chanting my name and being into the match, I'm in there with such a young kid and I can see the fire in his eyes, I can feel it. There's a feeling that I love seeing that from younger guys because I know there's still fire in my heart and my eyes. I love to see it match. So he did make an appearance

at double or nothing. He was on the pre-show very briefly. But to me, it's promotional

malpractice, not having Eddie Kingston on your New York card properly. So this has been one of my

great disappointments of the year, because first and foremost, I always assume that wrestlers

want to be doing stuff, right?

So there can always be reasons where maybe somebody wants to just chill for a bit and take a backseat or whatever.

And look, I always tune in to Eddie and Ortiz's matches on Ring of Honor when they're on, which is every couple of weeks or so.
