First up, fuel prices continue to rise due to the continued conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran.

A gallon of regular gasoline is now 379 a gallon on

average nationwide, up 26 cents from a week ago, and 88 cents from a month ago. It's the

highest national average gasoline price we've seen since September of 2023. And of course,

some states are paying more, some less. That's how averages work.

The highest prices are all in the West, along with Alaska, Hawaii, and Florida.

Tanker ships are waiting on either side of the strait to be able to pass,
