Thursday night edition of the Dunc-Tip Espaal podcast got a little news to get to.

Then we got to talk about a very intriguing offseason for the Denver Nuggets,

a team with a ton of assets and a ton of space and a pretty damn good team.

When you got Nicole of the Oakwich making the minimum for next year, that helps matters.

And then we also want to talk about Lauri Markenet, the Arizona PowerFord prospect,

one of the best shooting seven footers that Zever played in the NTA.

Let's break right into some news to start with here. Most intriguingly, we had talked about

Travis Schlenk and his status as kind of the skeptic in the room with the Warriors.

Jerry West, the other one of those guys, both of them are going to be gone now. We'll see if that

actually affects anything. Probably not because they have four All Stars. But Schlenk, it seemed like

Hawks owner Tony Russellers comments that they would do whatever it took to resign Millsap,

did not really fit with that skeptical approach that Schlenk brings because resigning Millsap

for a team that really was first round playoff fodder to a huge max deal didn't make much sense.

And then Schlenk had some interesting comments today to Chris Vivilmore of the Atlanta General

Constitution. Yeah, I mean, I found the wording interesting as well. So basically, he said,

we're going to make Paul our best offer. Will he have better offers? I don't know. And when you

have full bird rights on a guy and you can offer five years, that's notable. Yeah. And obviously,

I mean, a five year, $205 million deal for the 32 year old Millsap would certainly be a bad

contract by the end. But he will in fact have other studios as Schlenk realized. And one of those

were going to talk about pretty soon with the nuggets. But I think that's even if they lose Millsap.

I think that's actually a great sign for the Hawks that that is probably going to be his approach.
