Good to be back here for the stretch row.

We got some rankings to get to our center rankings,

but a lot of news has piled up.

And I think where we need to start, unfortunately,

is with the use of Nurgage injury happened a while ago.

At this point, I was lucky enough to not be watching at that particular time.

I will not be watching it.

That's generally my policy on these relatively gruesome injuries.

It is a compound fracture to his left tibia and fibula.

He had seagen-ending surgery on it last week.

But the positive news is no nerve or muscle damage in his leg.

He's going to be out indefinitely,

but it wouldn't shock me if he's able to return relatively close to the start of the next season.

I mean, it's still while it was gruesome and compound,

meaning it broke the skin, as long as he doesn't have any issues with infection.

I think he's going to be able to come back in similar fashion to Paul George.

Gordon Hayward, on the other hand,

his was closer to the ankle.

And so you have more complications.

This is really kind of right middle of the shin.

So broken bones generally are not as bad as issues with the joint.
